Wycliffe Hosts Living Spirit College Team

In June 2007 Wycliffe hosted a a group of 20 students and 3 staff from Living Spirit College, Hong Kong. Students and staff enjoyed a homestay program with Wycliffe families providing important experiences in English language learning in real life daily contexts. Our Chinese visitors also accompanied Wycliffe students to their daily lessons. This initial visit laid the foundation for exploring an ongoing relationship between the schools and an opportunity to learn about one another's culture.

Sister School Relationship established

During the summer of 2008, the Principals of Living Spirit College (LSC) and Wycliffe Christian School (WCS), concluded an agreement for a Sister School relationship, with the assistance of Grace Educational Services. Grace Educational Services had facilitated the first exchange visit to WCS in 2007 and also assisted WCS in its planning of a reciprocal visit. LSC is located in Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong.

2008 Exchange Program

During the April vacation in 2008, a team of 15 comprising students, staff and parents visited Living Spirit College, as well as taking part in a brief cultural tour to Shenzhen, China, and a service activity in Hong Kong. This pilot program has now been incorporated as one of the options for the Year 11 co-curricular program from 2009.
