School Staffing & Structure

Wyclife Christian School is organized into three groups for pastoral purposes, with some further significant sub-sections: Junior, Middle and the Senior Years.

Junior Years includes: Pioneers Pre-School Program for 3 and 4 year olds and the Early to Mid-Primary Years - Years K to 4.

The Senior Years include: Year 9 Program and Senior College (Years 10-12).

However for curriculum purposes, the school in 2010 is returning to a Primary (K-6) and Secondary (7-12) structure. There will continue to be a Middle Years approach in promoting flexible learning pathways for emerging adolescents in Years 5-8.

School Management has three key structures.

• A Senior Management Team (SMT) whose members are P-12 leaders.
• An Educational Leadership Team (ELT), led by the Deputy Principal. The ELT comprises sub-school, faculty and program leaders, only a few of whom have K-12 responsibilities.
• A Pastoral Leadership Team (PLT), led by the Principal, meets to consider the specific pastoral needs of students and families from P-12.
